The principals of Polar Energy's experience in the LNG industry goes back to one of the first
commercial projects for transport and storage of LNG from Algeria to Canvey Island in the UK.
Maintaining its interest in LNG as a viable, clean burning fuel, Polar has continued in the
development of LNG liquefaction, transport, storage and regasification on numerous projects,
including liquefaction of remote gas resources in offshore locations, small scale liquefaction
facilities and small LNG ship designs for micro LNG supply and large scale floating offshore
LNG facilities that can store as much as 400,000 cubic meters of LNG and regas at the rate of
one billion standard cubic feet per day.
